Day 70 Late to Toronto August 20, 2001
All day there was speculation as to how late we would be. We were
scheduled for 8pm. They were saying midnight @ the earliest and maybe 1 am.
The train pulled into the station @ 11:20 pm. @ the baggage pickup the bikes
come off last and don't go on the conveyor belt. ! decided to leave the
Jackal and the B.O.B @ the station. The hostel people told ME they had no
bike parking and most people park their bikes in a car garage for $6/day. The
train station will keep them for $7.50/day. The first day is free and ! don't
have to unload anything and haul it upstairs. It was only about 7 blocks to
the hostel. Oddly enough the hot-dog stands were all open outside the train
station. Another day of 0 miles.
