Day 57 Straightening up August 7, 2001

Today ! fixed up the Jackal and put on the new chain. Then took a test
ride to the airport. There was an old Cessna 140 getting ready to go. They
have 2 airports here. The nearest one has a 2,000' grass strip. That and a
short nap is all !'ve done so far today. !'m hearing that the hostels North
of here that ! was planning on going to are booked tomorrow so it may be
another day here. We'll see. 7 miles.
