Day 40 Disappointment July 21, 2001

! stayed over an exit night here in Bandon, OR so ! could go kayaking up
the river. The guy @ the shoppe said he had a group arriving @ 8 am so he
would definitely be there. ! got there about 9 and the place was locked up. !
waited around for a while then decided to wait @ the hostel. Nothing. ! went
to the library and read some e mail and put in some orders to sell some
options. If ! get what ! asked !'ll make more than ! did last month on them.
!'m liking these options. Too bad the Lucent stock is soooo far down from
what ! paid for it. @ least ! can make back some of it. !'m surprised that
they didn't get exercised in the last month. They were definitely "in the
money". Maybe !'ll get lucky again this month and they won't get up high
enough for anyone to want to exercise ME. Only 28 days 'til the new ones
expire. ! also looked around in some of the shoppes in old town. Some of the
galleries were interesting. Tomorrow night ! should be in a hotel in
Reedsport, OR so ! can send this out. 0 miles today.
