Day 19 The Canyon June 30, 2001

Wendy & ! went to breakfast in the morning then ! went to the airport to
see the Canyon from the air. A de Havilland Twin Otter w/ giant windows and
STOL kit. ! got to sit right behind the cockpit. The view was amazing. Almost
an hour in the air for $60 and ! filled up a whole digital film card. That's
nearly 8MB on one flight. !'m looking over them now. ! think ! can upload all
of the photos so you can browse them @ your leisure. !'ll let you know. After
landing ! took off towards Williams, AZ. @ 46 miles ! found a hostel. Also, !
met a guy from Austria out touring. ! had lunch in Valle, AZ just like
yesterday, but ! could barely get up afterwards today. Just so tired. ! guess
! didn't get enough sleep last night. This place has a VCR and a bunch of
movies so that'll be tonight's entertainment. Maybe. A few children have
landed. We'll see. About an hour 'til sunset. ! hope they don't take over the
tv room.
