Day 14 Day Off. Razin' Arizona June 25,2001

After breakfast today we went to the building next door and started
tearing out drywall. Then posts, ceiling tiles and insulation. The whole
building is coming down. @ this rate maybe tomorrow. ! got to smash stuff w/
a crowbar until MY hands were blistered. We ripped up most of the floor. The
roof comes off tomorrow and the kitchen cabinets come out then the walls come
down. Across the street there is a steep dirt hill. Some of the girls
struggled to walk up it. There was a local guy who had run up and down it
eight times. He's training for the 2004 Olympic trials for marathon. ! ran it
once. ! think the altitude is really hurting the kids. We're @ 6600'. Almost
time for a big dinner. Good and Free meals. And a place to sleep indoors.
What a deal. Next time ! sleep indoors will probably be in Flagstaff, AZ
after the Grand Canyon
